For almost half a century Duane Bernard of Rainier, Oregon, has pursued a dream to hunt big game world-wide and to achieve what is called his native Oregon's "Super-Slam" on a common-man's budget, a feat he accomplished and is shared in this collection of stories about those adventures in this book. An author of many articles for national hunting magazines over the years, in his book Bernard has written about hunting experiences in Montana, Idaho, British Columbia, New Mexico, Alaska, Quebec, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia, as well as his native Oregon. His book includes 27 chapters and 75 photographs of himself and others who shared the hunting experiences with him. Duane and his wife, have four children, all of whom also hunt. Issued in softcover 6x9-inch format, 27 chapters, 154 pages, with 75 black and white photographs. The cover photograph shows Bernard and his wife, Joanne, on a bighorn sheep hunt in Idaho.
