When Adelle Cheff set out to write a book telling “her side of the story” in the wake of her husband's (Bud Cheff Sr.) highly acclaimed book “Indian Trails and Grizzly Tales,” it was her intent to simply provide her children and grandchildren with a woman's perspective of a full and rather amazing family history. She was, after all, half of the couple who stood at the foundation – along with Bud – of one of Montana's most respected families. The result is “A Help To Each Other,” a warm and tender collection of stores in which she captures the essence of how a family was established and then nurtured, through the very theme innocently revealed throughout her wonderful story – by simply and consistently being not only a help to each other within their family, but to hundreds of others in their community. 5 ½ by 8 ½-inch softcover, 124 pages, numerous photographs, seven chapters including one of “favorite writings” of Adelle, plus a family photo album.
